1ST SECTION.
1. If i book the DJ service, or Banquet hall, can I cancel?
Yes. IF you cancel early. After the date the contract is signed, you have 3 days by law to cancel. From 4 days to 10, you may cancel with a $100 cancellation fee. The rest is returned within 30 days "Of the original contract date". Not before. The reason for this is that many times we tell customers the date is booked, then have a cancellation, and miss all of those potential customers. After 10 days, there ARE NO cancellations allowed!!
2. Can I reschedule for a future date?
Yes. You may reschedule for ANY OPEN date within 1 year of your original contract date. All fee's paid are credited, and your contract amount CANNOT GO UP! There is a $50 reschedule fee.
3. Do you require security?
Yes. After June 1, 2009, a minimum 1 guard is required for all parties, except childrens parties under 10. One guard for every 100 people is required (some exceptions required). If you book one and 300 show up, then you owe for 2 guards BEFORE THE EVENT IS FINISHED!!! You must use our guards. We use Metro Wide Patrol. The rate is $25 per hour.
4. Can I bring in my own caterer?
Yes and No. After June 1, '09, you must use our caterer, Brancatos, or pay a $100 upcharge to use your own. Exceptions are childrens parties under 10, or Quincineras.
5. Can I bring in Liquor?
Yes. If you bring in your own, NO SALES ARE ALLOWED, I.E., NO CASH BAR. NO PAID BARTENDERS OR HELP IS ALLOWED. If you use our caterer, Brancatos, a cash bar can be set up.
6. Can I offer the DJ a drink?
NO!!!! Our dj's are NOT allowed to drink or take smoke breaks. If they do, please tell us!!
7. What if a guest breaks something at the hall?
The person WHO SIGNS the contract WILL BE LIABLE for the item at a price DETERMINED BY US based on SUGGESTED RETAIL PRICE! Refusal to pay WILL stop the event.
8. Can I book extra hours on the hall or DJ?
Yes. rates determined by on duty personnel. Rates range from $50 to $75 per extra hour.
9. Can I pay by Credit Card or check?
Yes, at present. Any bounced checks will cause a $30 fee to be assessed. Credit cards WILL BE ALLOWED with proof of identity, and a signed contract TO ALLOW A 3RD PARTY TO bill you. We do not directly do the charging. Our associate companies do. If you wish us to take your card through our company, you must use Paypal. You can pay to jimokelly@rocketmail.com . No other forms of payment of this kind are accepted.
10. My friend got a special rate last year. Can I get it too?
Referral specials are generally NOT ALLOWED. We suggest checking our website or calling us for current specials.
